Summer Weather
in Bansko ~ Winter Weather in Bansko
Of course there are no certainties when it comes
to predicting the weather, however we have noticed some
weather patterns over the last few years that we have been in
Bansko.
May
Temperatures rising and
feeling more like spring. Sunny days and frequent evening and over-night
thunderstorms with plenty of rain making the rivers high and
fast - great for white water rafting!
June
Still a few thunderstorms and showers but temperatures feeling
hotter on sunny days (mid 20's). Evening temperatures are
cooler but pleasant - very nice for evening barbeques in the
forest.
July
Very little rain this month and temperatures reaching the high
20's. Perfect for sunbathing by the outdoor pool or taking a
hike in the mountains where it's a little cooler.
August
More sunshine and high temperatures. Bansko hosts the Annual
Jazz Festival every August - great fun for all the family!
September
Starting to cool down and
feel more autumnal, especially towards the end of the month. A
lovely time for horse riding or walks around Bansko, perhaps
visiting the local museums and monuments. |
